Kate's factory "tour" takes her around most buildings and the process of creating the automatons. She gets a phone call from her mom, who met with a Russian opera singer. Later, she finds a functioning footless automaton named Oscar, created by Hans to drive a locomotive (presumably the one at the train depot).
