Kate leaves the notary and gets a phone call from her boyfriend, telling him she has to remain for a little longer to solve the problem with the takeover. At the hotel, Kate asks the receptionist about Hans, but he claims Hans has been dead since he was 18, in a car accident. At the cemetery, Kate gets a call from her boss, telling him that an heir has been revealed. Kate can't return to New York unless she gets the heir to sign the contract.
