Yuri and Estelle go through the forest until they meet Karol Capel, a member of the guild Hunting Blades, who offers to escort them to Halure. They make it to Halure, where the townsfolk is pretty weak due to monster attacks. According to the mayor, the barrier weakened earlier than usual and the monsters used the opportunity to attack the humans, until one knight and his brigade, who just happened to pass by, drove away the monsters. The name of the knight is Flynn, who left to seek out a mage that can repair the blastia. With this information, Estelle plans to stand here to wait for Flynn. Yuri takes a look at the tree and Karol reveals the real reason of the barrier weakening: the monster blood poisoned the tree. Karol knows a cure, but he'll need the ingredients.
