After finishing teaching the history of this realm, Cyrus Albright's gets lucky: he's granted permission to enter the library's special archives! Ever hungry for knowledge, Cyrus makes it to the library at once... after he deals with one of his students. In the library, Cyrus looks for The Church of the Flame: A Complete Historie , but it's missing! Before he can search, he's summoned to the Royal Academy's Headmaster, who berates him for citing something from the special archives. Cyrus apologizes and begins the investigation of the missing tome!

They continue to look for a way out of the castle - while taking a detour to Estellise's room so she can change into something more practical. That's when they team up.

Kate investigates the cemetery, without finding much of anything. Then she finds a way inside the church, where she finds a few punch cards inside drawers. Later, she finds and completes a contraption using the cogs she found at the hotel, which reveals an elevator and she's taking to an attic... to be continued.
