Ophilia and Cyrus arrive at the Cave of Origin. After fighting some monsters, they reach the altar of the First Flame, where they are challenged to combat by its guardian! They defeat him and gather Aelfric's Lanthorn for the Kindling. They return to the town, where Ophilia tells the archbishop she will go on the pilgrimage and perform the Kindling in Lianna's stead. Guessing that Ophilia is doing it so that Lianna can tend to him, the archbishop allows Ophilia to go on the pilgrimage. With that taken care of, Ophilia goes on to perform the pigrimage, hoping that once it's done, she can return to her beloved family.
