Ophilia finds Lianna on a cliff. Up there, Lianna can't help but worry about what will happen to her father should she go on the pilgrimage. She doesn't want to leave him, but she can't disobey tradition. Ophilia flashes back to the time she was taken in by the archbishop after losing her parents in the war. After much thought, Ophilia decides to go to the Cave of Origin to gather the ember and perform the Kindling in her sister's stead.
