To save his nephews, Scrooge reluctantly teams up with Glomgold to infiltrate Mount Vesuvius to Magica's hiding place. When they get to her, Magica reveals she already had a deal with Glomgold, who takes Scrooge's Number One Dime. In fact, the painting with the treasure map was all her plan, so Scrooge could get the treasures for her. Magica uses the treasures to summon Dracula Duck, ordering him to take out Scrooge. But Scrooge defeats the vampire lord, reclaims his nephews and his Number One Dime. The treasures are gone, but the adventure was just as valuable.
